Thursday afternoon, I finally finished. As much as I love writing, I do hate editing. It’s always a huge relief when I finish and can pass it along to my editor/test reader, who can tell me if I missed anything or if there are any major things that I overlooked that needs to be fixed (plot holes, etc.).
Now, I’m relaxing and enjoying a weekend off before I get to work on my next story. I have a few ideas rolling around in my brain, so now it’s just a matter of figuring out which one is really ready to be taken from idea to novel.
The weather is on the chilly side this weekend, so I’m hanging out in the house. I’ll be reading (The Beggar King:A Hangman’s Daughter Tale by Oliver Potzsch), catching up on some TV and movies, and drinking hot tea or hot cocoa.
It’s going to be a quiet, relaxing weekend and I’m looking forward to it. Monday, I’ll get back to work.
